Desizn Circle International Celebrates the 3rd Edition of Its International Meet Up 2026

Desizn Circle International proudly celebrated the 3rd edition of its International Meet Up on 1 August 2026 at Alliance Francaise de Delhi, bringing together students, parents, mentors, counsellors, alumni, and international representatives for a day dedicated to creativity, ambition, and global opportunities in design education. The event stood as a meaningful milestone for the Desizn Circle International community, reflecting not only the growing aspirations of young designers but also the strong support system that guides them toward some of the finest institutions in the world.

Designed as a special admissions guidance and interaction session, the event welcomed students seeking admission to bachelor's programmes in design, fashion, communication, architecture, interiors, and other related creative disciplines. It created an inspiring platform where aspiring students could engage directly with experts and gain a clearer understanding of the academic and professional pathways available to them. With the world of creative education becoming increasingly dynamic and competitive, the meet up served as a timely and valuable initiative to help students make informed decisions about their futures.

One of the key strengths of the event was the presence of counsellors and representatives associated with leading international institutions, including the University of the Arts London, Istituto Marangoni, and institutions in Singapore. Their participation gave students a rare opportunity to receive authentic and practical guidance on programme selection, application strategy, portfolio development, and progression opportunities. For many attendees, these interactions helped demystify the admissions process and offered clarity on how to approach applications with confidence and purpose.

A major highlight of the International Meet Up was the talk show with distinguished alumni and student ambassadors currently studying at some of the world's leading design universities. Their journeys, insights, and personal experiences brought inspiration to younger students who are preparing to follow similar paths. Among the featured names were Eshaan Gupta from the Royal College of Arts, Hrishity Mohanty from the London College of Fashion, UAL, Ayda Sethi, a graduate of the London College of Communication, UAL, Ananaya Baig from Chelsea College of Arts, Anushka Bhargava from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York, Myra Jaiwal, progressing from UAL Foundation to BA Architecture at Central Saint Martins, Navvya Nargis, progressing from UAL Foundation to BA Fashion Communication: Image and Promotion at Central Saint Martins, Rehet Kaur Narula from Chelsea College of Arts, and Harvir Swani from the London College of Communication.

Their interaction with the audience added a deeply personal and relatable dimension to the event. They spoke not only about admissions and academics, but also about adapting to new cultures, balancing creative pressure, building strong portfolios, and making the most of university life abroad. Their stories made global education feel more accessible and achievable for students currently in classes 11 and 12.

It was particularly significant to note that 78 students from Desizn Circle International are joining leading design colleges across the globe this year, a remarkable accomplishment that speaks volumes about the commitment of the students, the faith of the parents, and the mentorship provided by the organisation. This achievement filled the event with pride and emotion, as students were acknowledged for their hard work and their exciting next steps.

The event also featured an exhibition by students of classes 11 and 12 who are preparing to begin their college journeys in the coming year. This exhibition was an important platform for young creative minds to showcase their talent, ideas, and evolving portfolios. It allowed students to present their work in front of peers, mentors, alumni, and institutional representatives, while also gaining exposure to the standards expected by international design schools. The exhibition reflected the promise of the next generation and added tremendous creative energy to the meet up.

Career counselling formed another core element of the day, with guidance sessions led by Divya Narula Maam and Ratna Adhya Maam. Their counselling offered focused advice on career direction, academic choices, and preparation strategies for students aiming to build futures in the creative industries. Their sessions were valuable not only for students but also for parents, helping families understand the long-term possibilities and scope within design and related disciplines.

The event also carried a strong emotional dimension through the meet and greet and see-off for students and parents preparing to leave for overseas universities this year. This part of the gathering celebrated transition, courage, and new beginnings. It brought together families who are on the verge of an important life change and allowed the community to share encouragement, pride, and heartfelt good wishes. Such moments reinforced the sense that Desizn Circle International is not only a guidance platform but also a close-knit support system.

A special mention must be made of Istituto Marangoni London Campus, the title sponsor of the event, whose support added immense value to the programme. Sarabhjeet Kaur and Ahemad from the London campus were also present to mentor applicants and review their portfolios. Another notable presence at the event was the fur brand Everything Fur, owned by Aishwarya Kochhar and Pulkit Narang. Desizn Circle International also acknowledged the efforts of its dedicated team, whose commitment made the event a success. Special mention goes to Ankita Kochhar, Rajesh Kumar Kochhar, Satyajit Das, Sibani Pattnayak, Nikita Joshi, Shraddha Jain, Durgesh Jha, Shivam Gupta, Rahul Rai, Chandan Mohanty, Keshav Jha, Praveen Chaudhary, and Victor Ji. Their contribution, along with the support of volunteers and interns working behind the scenes and coordinating closely with the core team, ensured that the event was organised smoothly and flawlessly.

Special recognition was also given to Yamini Kaul, content writer at Desizn Circle International, who has played an important role in supporting students through the writing of statements of purpose. Her presence at the event reflected the many layers of support that students receive through the organisation during their admissions journey.

With more than 700 students, parents, and mentors attending the event, the 3rd edition of the International Meet Up emerged as a vibrant and memorable celebration of aspiration, achievement, and community.
